THE BRIEF

Qumulo—a company that provides cloud file data services to a variety of sectors—wanted an illustration to accompany an information sheet targeting film and tv producers. The illustration needed to show the ease of using their cloud sharing services for producers working remotely and feature references to production software.

THE SOLUTION

The illustration speaks to the sharing of files between remote users and collaborating during the production process of editing, revisions and final work. A limited palette is used for each of the top two figures to indicate different times of day, referencing the fact that cloud sharing and collaboration can occur across different time zones. The arms of the figures form a circular shape to allude to the ease of file sharing as well as the give-and-take aspect of collaboration between users.
